Rustic hilltop cabin overlooking Lake Hodges. Surrounded by open canyons & mountains, you will feel like you're a million miles away from everything as you take in the views from the cabin, deck or the outside shower, swim in the saltwater pool, or relax by the fire bowl. A short walk to lake with boating, fishing & miles of hiking/mountain biking trails. Property offers swimming pool, fire bowl, and shaded arbor. SD Zoo Safari Park, wineries, breweries, & ocean beaches all within easy reach.

Cranberry Cabin

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic cozy cabin on the top of the mountain. A basecamp ready for your Palomar adventures. This is a tiny home, 19' x 11' (the bedroom is 11x11ft). Max sleeping capacity: 2 adults and one child under age 5. No AC. Valley views are from guest accessible property, not directly from the cabin porch. Max 2 dogs stay free - disclose bringing them. $100 cat cleaning fee on top of our $50 cleaning fee, and we will charge $200 if you fail to disclose your cat(s).

Private en-suite bathroom and shower. Outside you will find your private patio with a chaise lounge and sitting areas. Close to grocery stores, restaurants, wineries and casinos.

The Wood Pile Inn getaway

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This historic cabin built in 1920 was recently refurbished to its old charm with some modern upgrades for your comfort. The original owner of the Cabin was an author named Catherine Woods. She wrote the very first book on the history of Palomar Mountain; Teepee to Telescope. You'll find a copy in the cabin for a good read.Lots of natural light make this little cabin feel spacious, the windows throughout the cabin offer a beautiful forest view.

Charming Mid-Century Country Escape - 2 BR, 1 Bath

Hello there :) This is a guest house with a private entrance shared with an Airstream on a 3 acre property. Although we live on the property the home itself is very private. We are in Valley Center just a short 15 minutes away from San Diego zoo safari park, also close to popular casinos; Valley View, Harra's resort and Pala. There are a few vineyards only minutes away such as Hill Top Winery, Pauma Vista and Temecula vineyards only 30 minutes away. Pets are permitted but no cats please.

Cedar Crest

Cedar Crest is a nicely remodeled cabin while keeping its original charm. It is easy access. A few steps lead you to the deck in the middle of the trees... This cabin can sleep 2 people in a king bed and if you would like to bring your kids, the master bedroom has a full size futon. (Kids sleep free) For pet owner, the east side of the cabin has a fenced-in space. We recommend you do not let them be there unsupervised as a motivated mountain lion could jump the fence and arm your pet.
