Fantastisk utsikt og ett rolig området der man kan nyte idylliske fjell og naturomgivelser. Nordlys sesongen er fra September til April. Beautiful designer house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing with the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. Included in your stay there is a woodfired sauna placed by the sea with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. We charge NOK 250,- per sac of firewood used to heat these facilities . To prepare and fill the hot tub for you to use during your stay, we charge a fee at NOK 2000,-

Bolig ligger i naturskjønne og rolige omgivelser nord på Kvaløya, ca. 25 minutter kjøring fra Tromsø sentrum. Utleiedel består av kjøkken, stue og bad, og fire soverom på loftet. Flott utsikt over Kvalsundet fra kjøkken/stue. Populært område for å se nordlys. Nærmeste dagligvarebutikk ligger 8km unna boligen, i Kvaløyvågen. Matvarebutikken er åpen kl 10-1730 i ukedager og kl 10-15 på lørdager. Dersom man ønsker butikk med mer utvalg er nærmeste ved Kvaløysletta.

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.

Only 23 km from the airport in Tromsø. Built in 2007. Perfect conditions for watching aurora borealis because you are well away from the lights of the city. Many aurora guids bring guests to this area. If you are very lucky you can also watch killer whales (orcas) from the beach just below the cottage. Reindeers and other animals also live in this area.
