A spacious condo for two within 3 miles of Durham City Centre. This totally private space looks onto a secluded mature garden giving you the privacy you are looking for. This space has its own entrance while adjoining to the main house. It is well furnished with its own kitchen facilities ( inc. Welcome Basket) giving you the freedom and flexibility you desire. Upstairs lies the spacious Super King bedroom with en-suite and dressing/reading room where you can relax and play your stay.

Blackthorn Gate comprises four luxury holiday lodges, situated on the border of North Yorkshire and Tees Valley. Set in 230 acres of open farmland the lodges have been specifically designed and positioned with the huge windows at the front facing directly at Roseberry Topping so you can enjoy uninterrupted views of this glorious landmark. The lodges are spacious and airy and can accommodate either 4 or 5 guests depending on the lodge. Mobility aids are available for use in the lodges.

The surrounding scenery is stunning—from your bedroom window, you’ll enjoy expansive views of farmland, lush greenery, and the sea close by—just a 10-minute walk away. You’ll find easy access to public transportation, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, Starbucks coffee and more. Reaching Sunderland city center in about 10-15 minutes. Newcastle is also easily reachable within 20 minutes from Sunderland.

Pen-y-Ghent Micro Lodge

Beautiful barn conversion which is ideally situated for walkers and 3 Peaks Challenge adventurers! It offers 3 bedrooms in the main house and is within walking distance of the local pubs, café and train station and has its own private car park for guests. From April 2019 2 (dog friendly) micro lodges/pods will be added and are located in the walled garden area next to the main house, both with private terrace and bbq. Pods are en-suite and equipped with TV, fridge, microwave and sofa.
