Old Salting Barn: Brecon Beacons Historic Cottage

The Old Salting Barn dates back to the 17th Century & forms part of a charming range of old farm buildings at Llandetty Hall Farm, situated in the heart of the stunningly beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park. Set in 15 acres of private pasture on the Mon Brec canal & between the villages of Talybont on Usk & Llangynidr. The barn boasts a log burner & use of the adjacent communal games barn. It uses electricity created by our solar panels & is heated by our new & efficient heat pump system.

The Bwthyn - a riverside rural retreat

The Bwthyn - a tiny cruck-beamed cottage, situated at the confluence of two streams, tastefully restored to offer a place of peace in beautiful surroundings in the Brecon Beacons National Park, close to Pen y Fan & Black Mountains. A cosy quiet space to stop and breathe, with walks at all levels from the door. We are ideally located for those wishing to attend Hay Festival & Royal Welsh. Also a great escape for walking and cycling enthusiasts with so many opportunities to explore our glorious countryside right on our doorstep.

Our stylish & cosy hideaway is the ultimate escape where you can re-wild yourself in acres of tranquility. Wander straight out the door onto the mountains taking in some breathtaking views. Return home to the sauna, soothe tired limbs & then relax by spinning some vinyl from the record collection, whilst the log burner crackles & the owls enthusiastically serenade as dusk sets in! (plus we now have an indoor padel ball court for you to exercise your inner Federer!!)
