The Teasel Yurt

You will find The Teasel Yurt tucked into the side of Selsley Common. The large deck looks out over the Severn Vale and Stroud hills - spectacular in all weather and a great spot for sunset. The yurt itself can accommodate a maximum of 5 people with your bedding and towels provided. There is a wood burner to keep the yurt cosy when it is chilly out and the open air kitchen has a canvas roof, a gas burner, firepit/BBQ, sink and cool box. Your bathroom has a hot shower and compost loo.

The Yurt has a superking bed and log burner making for that cosy evening stargazing through the clear PVC starlight. -There are no mains electricty available The glamping area is located in it's own field where you can play games, sunbath and BBQ. Just you, no shared spaces except maybe with some animals!

This absolutely gorgeous Yurt and Shepherds hut is situated in a beautiful secret valley within Brecon Beacons National Park, between the Blorenge and Gilwern Hills, only 3.5 miles away from Abergavenny. The area is known as "Cordell Country" after the author Alexander Cordell, who has written best selling historical novels about the surrounding area and it's natural beauty combined with its former industrial heritage. The yurt is situated on an organic small holding in the beautiful Welsh valleys. You have to cross a foot bridge to get to it. Leave your car on one side of the river and walk to your accommodation. We can also provide fruit and veg as we run an organic market garden in the summer months.
