The cottage is in a superb setting on a south facing hillside with panoramic views across miles of fine Yorkshire countryside. It is approximately two miles from the centre of vibrant Hebden Bridge where there is an excellent range of independent shops, restaurants, coffee bars, art décor cinema, theatre and markets. The cottage has been recently refurbished retaining many original features but with all the modern comforts inc a fully fitted kitchen, underfloor heating and a wood burning stove.

Long Fall Bothy is a gorgeous stone building on the outskirts of Marsden village in West Yorkshire. Perfect for a walking holiday, the Kirklees Way passes the property and the Pennine Way, Oldham Way are close by. A great place for mountain biking with the Transpennine Trail a few miles away and lots of cycle paths/trails on your doorstep. Local real ale pubs and plenty of cafes in Marsden village a short walk (15 minutes) along the canal. Beautiful scenery, views from the cottage are amazing.

Built in 1860 for workers at the nearby cotton mill, this home has many period and original features. Whether you are cooking in the kitchen, relaxing in front of the wood burning stove, laying in bed or luxuriating in the gorgeous feature bath, there is a stunning view to be seen from every window. If you are lucky you may see an otter or mink swim by.

The cosy guest suite includes a living room with TV, leather sofa and armchair, small dining table and 2 chairs. There is a compact kitchen area equipped with combination oven/microwave, hob, fridge and all essential crockery and cookware. The bedroom has an oak framed king size bed with matching bedside tables and is furnished with pine furniture, curtains and a blind. The shower room is spacious and is en suite to the bedroom. There is gas central heating and blinds to most of the windows.

The historic village of Chapeltown is ideal for walking, cycling or just relaxing. A stone’s throw away is the friendly pub, offering great pub food. A 5 minute walk will take you to the Wayoh reservoir and surrounding areas leading to Entwistle and Jumbles Country park. Turton Tower is a short walk away and Bromley Cross train station is 1.5 miles with a direct line to Manchester and Clitheroe. The Lancashire cycle way runs past the doorstep as does as the cycling stage of Ironman uk.

It is ideally placed to visit the local attractions such as Clitheroe Castle and museum, the Grand Theatre, Homes Mill and the Everyman Cinema. There is a pleasant outside space where you can relax before heading out on your new adventures.

The house is set on a country road. It is 1 mile to Tottington, Walshaw, Harwood or Affetside. Harwood and Breightmet golf clubs are close by. There are lots of country walks and restaurants near by. A stone cottage with 2 double bedrooms 1 bathroom with bath and shower 1 lounge/ diner, downstairs toilet and cellar with a small pool table. Outside is a small terrace.
