You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Our cabin is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian Trail, and the James River with many outdoor activities within minutes. Our cabin will accommodate 2 people based upon septic system and rules and regulations set by Bedford County . Our cabin is not kid friendly (infant-10 y). Please message us with any questions. Guests are just 10 minutes to downtown Lexington, Virginia Military Institute, Washington & Lee University, Southern Virginia University & the Virginia Horse Center. The owner is a VMI alumnus.

The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.
