Situated in the scenic woods of northern Michigan yards away from Houghton Lake, this comfy cabin is a great place to relax after a full day of fun. It is the PERFECT spot for summer lake fun, outdoor activities, ice fishing adventures, trail riding and more. Conveniently located within walking distance of the beach, playground, volley ball court, tennis court, boat launch, ice cream shop, state trails AND MORE! Shady Valley Cabins: 3 cabins, and our spacious 4 bedroom apartment are now available to rent at this Houghton Lake family resort. Our two lakefront cabins are 3 bedrooms our lakeside cabin is a 4 bedroom unit, each with full kitchen, bathroom and living/dining area. The 4 bedroom spacious apartment, full kitchen, 1 & 1/2 bathrooms and large living room/dining area. Starting again in May 2027 this listing will also include a cute 2 bedroom apartment. Cabin 3 is occupied by our cleaning staff

Base Camp - ORV trail access

2 bedroom cabin with ORV trail access to the renowned St Helen trail system. Cozy space with thoughtful amenities and retro gaming. This 750 sq ft cabin has everything you need: a full kitchen, washer/dryer, huge outdoor space with grill & fire pit. Fully fenced-in yard for doggie guests. Plenty of parking for trucks, trailers, ORVs, boats, etc! Note: There's another rental on the property close to this one. But each has private yards, parking, and driveway. Rent both for larger groups!

The beach is sandy with no sea wall & perfect for swimming! The beach and dock are shared with 3 other cabins. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (dogs). Additional $50.. This will be charged during your booking. The cleaning fee is for supplies/house cleaner. Please do not leave a sink full of dirty dishes behind. Leave cabin in the same condition as you arrived. Thanks
