Tongue Cottage is a delightful one bedroomed property in Watermillock. An area of outstanding natural beauty within the Lake District National Park, only a mile from Ullswater. It provides a unique location for walking, honeymoons, or romantic getaways and is perfect for that special anniversary, birthday or simply for those just wanting to relax. Located next to the owners’ home, but still maintaining solitude and privacy, the cottage is surrounded by open fields and is a haven for wildlife.

Low Wood - woodland glamping pod

Nestled in between woodland within the ancient temperate rainforest of Borrowdale in the Lake District; our wooden glamping pod is an idyllic place to base yourselves to explore the National Nature Reserve and beyond. We are situated near Grange village, with miles of footpaths from our doorstep, adventure awaits! We recommend the pod suits a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children. There is one double bed and one double sofa bed in the pod. If 4 adults stay, the pod becomes quite tight for space.

Situated in the lovely village of Portinscale this warm detached family home provides everything you might want to enjoy a stay in the Lake District. We are situated 5 minutes walk from Derwent Water and the Nicol End Marina for kayaking and water activities. Portinscale has a pub that serves food and a cafe. Our favourite eating places nearby are Swinside Inn and the Ivy Restaurant in Braithwaite. Keswick is a mere 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk for eating out, shopping and outdoor sports.

Situated between Rosthwaite and Seatoller this valley cottage gives immediate access to public footpaths leading to Seathwaite, Johnny Wood, Langstrath, Honister Pass, Glaramara and beyond. When not out exploring you can relax in your own private peaceful rear garden either in one of the many outside seating locations or inside the tranquil garden room and then retire in the evenings to the living room with its cosy log burner.

Originally built in 1696 as a shepherds cottage, Foxwood Cottage is situated in Borrowdale, just outside Keswick in one of the most beautiful valleys in the Lake District National Park. The River Derwent runs past the cottage and it's surrounded by some of the finest views, walking paths and trails the park has to offer, from an easy walk to a nearby pub or restaurant or a more strenuous hike up Scafell Pike - the highest mountain in England. Sorry, no dogs or other animals allowed.

The hut is set in the middle of a family farm, forget about your busy lives and sit back and relax in this peaceful location ideal for a romantic retreat, with views up the Lorton valley ,cozy up into front of the wood burning stove and plan your adventure for the next day. The hut has no electricity but has solar lights, and a separate composting toilet, all bed linen is provide along with wood for the stove. The cottage resides within our farm, Terrace Farm with open countryside and panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells and numerous Wainwrights including Melbreak, Whiteside, Low Fell, Hopegillhead to name but a few.

Toddell Barn sits within approximately 7 acres of agricultural land that helps attract a wide variety of wildlife. Toddell Barn is located in the hamlet of Brandlingill (2 miles south of Cockermouth) and is within the northern boundary of The Lake District National Park, categorised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2017.
