Excellent Stone Restaurant in a mountain retreat to the south of Kissamos. All the food is sourced from the retreat. Cool place for the very hot days. You can walk up to the retreat from one of the villages at the foot of the mountain. The walk up is abut 45 minutes and about 35 back.

Spectacular Beach on the tip of the western Peninsular of Kissamos bay. The drive is about 40 minutes with the last 25 minutes across a dirt track. You need strong shoes to walk down to the beach from the parking area at the end of the dirt track. Alternatively you can take a passenger boat/ferry from the big port is Kissamos. Cost is about 25/30 euro per person. Can be very busy in peak season.
