Greendale is a great big farm shop with a cafe attached. The cakes are AMAZING, and I think you can probably buy everything you need here – it's like a farm shop supermarket. Outside, there are animals and tractors on display. Oh yes, and a highly recommended chip shop for takeaways.

Exeter
Exeter is a fun and beautiful city in the daytime and at night. There are a lot of international restaurants and independent shops, plus a good art scene – the Phoenix is a good place to start if you like music and film, dance nights and real theatre.
Exeter is rich in history, with the Cathedral in the centre and medieval and Roman remains all around the city. There are underground passages and tours, and to the south, great views to the countryside on the horizon. Spot the wonky tree!
