The church yard is famous for it's cherry three avenue
Below is a small guide to the area of Copenhagen NV (also known as Bispebjerg):
The area has a lot to offer. We have a lot of nice coffee shops, restaurants, bars and also interesting architecture and nature.
Coffee shops/ Cafés:
Kaffe Departementet, Rentemestervej
Café Fovl, Frederikssundsvej
Café Sirius, Rentemestervej
Café and steakhouse "Miklagaard", Frederiksborgvej 21
For architectural experience go see Grundtvigs Church and the area around it. Close to the church is Bispebjerg Hospital which was build in 1913. A beautiful area with old buildings and gardens. In Bispebjerg Church yard you'll find the amazing cherry tree avenue.
In the area behind Café Sirius there's a nice play ground for kids.
"Tribeca" on Bisiddervej and "Behov" on Rentemestervej are two nice local restaurants and in front of Tribeca you find a cosy bar "Nordvest Ølbar" which serves local produced beer from Ugly Duck Brewing.
"Lygtens Kro" on Lygten is a very Berlin-kind-of gastro pub close to the appartment.
If you like books, the antiquarian "Storrs" on Frederikssundsvej is worth a visit.
Any kind of beverages can be found at "Vin de Table" on Frederikssundsvej - these guys know their stuff!
