Absolutely gorgeous wee bay, get on ferry then walk up Shakespeare cliff for magnificent pic opportunities then head down the track to lonely bay, you can also get to cooks beach from the track. Great day out.

check the tides as a small river crossing but if in togs no problem , secluded little bay with a pretty bush walk to get there.

This is one of my favourite beaches, squeaky white sand and aqua ocean, coming down the hill is breathtaking and if you go to the far end there is a canopy of pohutukawa trees and a lagoon to explore
