This is a GREAT hiking location! It's a wonderful alternative to the sometimes bustling Mount Nittany hiking area. Shingletown Gap offers many difficulty levels of hiking, from walking along the creek bed to climbing a steep cliff face. We really love this place for our weekend hikes!

This is a staple in the Happy Valley tour! It can be a strenuous hike if you aren't used to hiking, but the views of the valley are worth it! Mount Nittany can get a bit busy and parking is limited in the summer/fall months.
