Home to the Black Bass Inn, the Lumberville General store and the famous Walking Bridge. Just 6 miles south of us, Lumberville makes an idyllic bike ride along the towpath. Passing through small villages, such as Point Pleasant, canal locks and aqueducts along the way. A casual snack or meal at the General store is always a good idea. For the more formal, a lunch on the terrace of the Black Bass with exception views of the river and bridge. Of course, one must walk the scenic Walking Bridge connecting PA to NJ for pedestrians & cyclists only.

Lumberville
Home to the Black Bass Inn, the Lumberville General store and the famous Walking Bridge. Just 6 miles south of us, Lumberville makes an idyllic bike ride along the towpath. Passing through small villages, such as Point Pleasant, canal locks and aqueducts along the way. A casual snack or meal at the General store is always a good idea. For the more formal, a lunch on the terrace of the Black Bass with exception views of the river and bridge. Of course, one must walk the scenic Walking Bridge connecting PA to NJ for pedestrians & cyclists only.
Larger than Lumberville and just 4 miles further south, Center Bridge (PA side) and Stockton (NJ) offer restaurants, galleries & shops in these small river villages. The Prallsville Mill, on the north end of Stockton, offers tours of the mill, and often hosts weekend art shows, car shows and other events throughout the warmer weather seasons. Dilly's Corner on the PA side is an ice cream stand classic offering everything from soft serve ice cream to full dinners.

Larger than Lumberville and just 4 miles further south, Center Bridge (PA side) and Stockton (NJ) offer restaurants, galleries & shops in these small river villages. Finding us!
When approaching from River Road, you will turn onto Tinicum Creek Road. We are the second drive way on the right, #20. The driveway splits at the bottom, stay left, up the hill, around the sharp bend and make your way up the hill. You WILL NOT see the house from the road (that is the neighbor's house). Once you reach the top you will recognize the guesthouse. Park in the area to the left of the house.
