There are lots of walks on Otley Chevin. From the top you can see over the Wharfe Valley over to Brimham Rocks towards Harrogate in the distance. IN the other direction you may see planes coming in to land at Leeds/Bradord Airport & in the far distance there is the Emily Moor TV mast.

York is a roman city with historic walls, fantastic cathedral, shops etc. In geography at school we learnt the acronym SUNWACD descibing the 7 main rivers that run into the river Ouse in York, which causes flooding from time to time.

York
York is a roman city with historic walls, fantastic cathedral, shops etc. In geography at school we learnt the acronym SUNWACD descibing the 7 main rivers that run into the river Ouse in York, which causes flooding from time to time.

Skipton a market town is definitely worth a browse around. You may wish to visit the castle or walk on the canal, or just go for Fish & Chips to Bizzie Lizzies?

Magnificent walk
Pre-book Cavandish Pavillion parking. Fantastic walk up the Strid a notoriously dangerous stretch of the river Wharfe. Take care not to go too clsoe to the edge with its precarious undercut ledges.
