This is a short (4 miles round trip), steep hike that begins on ends in the Granite Chief Wilderness. The trail is steep and exposed to direct sun so bring lots of water and a hat.
Off of Highway 89, Take Alpine Meadows Road for 2 miles to the trailhead where you will park along the side of the road.
