All of this overlooking ocean views, this is a great place to enjoy and learn a little bit of history with the family!

A short drive from the villa takes you to this magical and often secluded spot! Drive into the park with ample parking and start off with a hike through nature that gives you glimpses of the ocean and estuaries on your right. There’s a gorgeous overlook with the sweetest little picnic table, perfect for lunch just about 5 minutes walk in. Continue on your walk and descend down the hill towards the beach and feel the same between your toes! For all bird lovers and photographers out there, Ellisville State Harbor Park is great for both!

During the right season, bring your binoculars and you can spot seals and even whales spouting if you are lucky! Walking directions to Black Ground Cove will be available in the on site House Manual.

Food scene
One of our favorite seafood joints 15 minutes drive away from the villa over Sagamore Bridge. We absolutely think this place has the freshest and best sushi in the area! Other dishes we love are the papardelle, whole steamed Jonah crab, lobster Mac n cheese and crab cakes! The expansive menu here literally has something for everyone. Great for takeout or for a meal in, but be sure to book in advance as it’s a favorite amongst locals and travelers alike!

This is our go to when we are craving some good ol’ fashioned fried seafood. An absolute local favorite, we love their fried whole belly clams, lobster rolls and fried oysters. The market also has a selection of fresh fish to choose from. It’s no nonsense, no frills and 2 minutes away from the villa!
