A famous lookout and lighthouse on the South Coast. Easiest to get there by bus 12/12A Coaster, or by car.
You can walk to this iconic cliff along the Seaford sea front. From your room, it's about a 2 hour round trip to the top and back. This location was recently featured in the film "Hope Gap" which is actually a lovely cove accessible by stairs from the cliffside.
If you would prefer to drive for the views, we recommend driving to the South Hill Barn car park, although it tends to get very busy there past 12 PM, especially weekends. There is a small coffee shop and pizzeria, and sometimes there are independent art exhibits.
If you extend your walk, you can get to Hope Gap and Cuckmere Haven which are idyllic pebble beaches.
Be very careful of the cliff edges and around the base of the cliffs as there has been some recent erosion.
