Sightseeing
You can walk right up to the observation deck of the dam and watch the water running over. You will see many people fishing below the dam and many times will see them catch a large variety of fish. There is also a walking/bike riding trail that will continue on from there for 2 miles to Shadow Rock Park

Empire park is next-door to our cabin. There are walking and biking trails, an 18-hole disc golf course, fishing docks and a playground. There are also picnic tables if you want to have a lakeside picnic.

Shadow rock Park is also on the walking/bike riding trail from our cabin. You will see people fishing, swimming in Swan Creek, playing on the playground, and having family picnics in the shelter houses that can be reserved through the city of Forsyth.

Silver Dollar City is an amusement park loved by all ages. You can take the Ozark Mountain Highway and get there quickly without having to fight the 76 highway traffic in only 30 minutes or so from our cabin.

Tablerock Dam is a great outing for familys. There is a fish hatchery where you can feed the trout. Kids of all ages love to see the trout jump to get the food! There is also an interesting visitor center at the hatchery where you can learn more about the hatchery and local wildlife. All of these are free!
