Enjoy a swim or surf at this magnificent beach, grab some lunch or a cold beer at the iconic Wallarah Hotel (Catho Pub to the locals), walk north to the Shark Hole or south to Ghosties; there are rock pools to enjoy, caves to explore and you may even see an echidna on your stroll.

Catherine Hill Bay

Our favourite beach in the Munmorah State Conservation Area, Frazer is a gem! Beautiful picnic areas & bush walking galore, first class fishing and divine vistas are just some of what this beach offers. Enjoy a picnic in the cabbage tree palm grove then walk off lunch around the Palms circuit. Spend your afternoon enjoying the sun and sea. This beach is unpatrolled.

A pristine beach, Birdie is a long stretch of tea tree lined golden sand where first class fishing and surfing are major draw cards. Bush walk through Munmorah State Conservation Area to Wybung Head then sit and enjoy the vista.

Fish from Blacksmiths breakwall into the Swansea Channel or take a dip on the other side at beautiful Blacksmiths Beach. The breakwall often allows for a quiet corner and this beach is a great place to learn to surf. It is lifeguard patrolled throughout the warmer season. One of our favourites.

Fish from Blacksmiths breakwall into the Swansea Channel or take a dip on the other side at beautiful Blacksmiths Beach. The breakwall often allows for a quiet corner and this beach is a great place to learn to surf. It is lifeguard patrolled throughout the warmer season. One of our favourites.
