Neighborhoods
Wonderful urban trail for hikers, runners, and cyclists. You will enjoy running along the trail, both to Golden Gardens and all the way to Kenmore. It is pretty quiet and peaceful in the early mornings especially the segments farther away from the city. For some parts near Lake Union and UW, bikes and pedestrians have separated designated lanes but for the most parts the path is multi-use so pay attention to faster traffic.

It's a short walk from the house to access the Burke Gilman hiking and biking trail and public beach on Lake Washington, if that's too easy for you, there are plenty of hikes in the mountains if you drive to the east or ride a ferry to the islands.

Close to shops and restaurants
This neighborhood is very peaceful with lots of trees and nature. It is less than a mile from shops and restaurants and only 10 minutes to Northgate Mall and University Village. Getting downtown is around 20 minutes’ drive.
