Roadtrip Anyone??

You start your roadtrip at the Badlands Bungalow and you'll be surprised that the 1st attraction is waiting only 10 minutes down the road. You will head west on Township Road 302. (Don't worry, it's only gravel for about 7 kms), then we turn left onto 838, North Dinosaur Trail and follow it to your 1st stop - a spectacular viewpoint - Horsethief Canyon. Some people will even choose to do a bit of a hike here as well. A scenic 10 min. further south on the North Dinosaur Trail, you'll find the Royal Tyrrell Museum and Midland ProvincialPark, but before that, stop for a quick pic at The Little Church.

This is an easy, must stop, for a small hike and fantastic pictures. Continuing south past the community of East Coulee a little ways, where Hwy 10 swings right, you'll find Atlas Coal Mines National Historic Site. Roadtrip Part 4

Heading back up Hwy 10 north to Drumheller, you turn onto Hwy 9 West and drive about 10 mins out of town where you find Horseshoe Canyon. On the Home stretch now, a little further north you find the Bleriot Ferry. It's a bit of a novelty and it quickly takes you across the Red Deer River. The Badlands Bungalow is a 10 Min straight shot away down Township Road 838. For a Bonus attraction, less than 18 mins drive from Home base, down Township Road 302, is Michichi Creek Boardwalk.
