lovely to sit and unwind by the canal. The food is good. if you choose you can walk across the fields, or along the canal to this pub. About a 40 minute walk there or a 10 minute drive.

A delightfulhistoric town, close to Bath. with it's nooks and crannies. Worth just walking around the old streets. plenty if cafes, bars and pubs offering a range of food. The Kennet and Avoncanal runs along one end of the town with the river Avon running through as well.

A sleepy village where the Pigsty is situated. The local PubThe Raven is very good. Poulshot Lodge farmhouse selling locally produced meat. It has all the basics. It's home to Holi chocs, very nice, but quite expensive. The gourmet Brownie company is also situated there, and has a cafe in Devizes.
