It's a great beach, not as crowded as other ones and quite empty if you keep on walking towards Premia de Mar ( North). There's a seaside walkable and bikeable really nice and afterwards you can have a drink at any Chiringuito ( bars right on the sand) you like: The sunset over Barcelona is beautiful from here.

All the mountains right on top of Masnou are full of Dolmens and mystic constructions. Map Roca d'en Toni and you have and old megalitic construction with 3000 years old. From there you have a farm called Sant Mateu with animals and really nice background to walk around.

Vallromanes is an amazing town right in the midlle of the Marina Mountains. It's small , beautiful and surrounded by old forests and "Masies " ( old landlord houses ). If you got time, get a reservation at Spa Aire de Vallromanes and have a lunch or dinner at Montbell Restaurant. You'll remember forever.

Alella is a really nice and uncrowded town 2km away from Masnou. Surrounded by vinyeards some of them have really nice views from the sea and Barcelona. It's great to get lost into the town and discover their nice wine shops and if you are in a friday buy from it's weekly market.

Get the train to Plaça Catalunya and start from there
Move to the center of the Barcelona city and from there plan the trips. One day visit the seaside and harbour. Another go to Sagrada familia area. Another one stay in the old city... Be careful with pickpockets and take care of your belongings. Specially at public transportation.
