Good for Sunday Market, evening apéro / meal or just a mooch* (20 min walk).
Alternatively, the 202 bus takes you up the hill. While it's unlikely to be quicker...it does give a better view of some of the fancy houses along the way 😏

The heath itself is good for picnics, dog watching, kite flying and exercise.
The legendary Tea Hut is a good spot for motorbike enthusiast.

- Lewisham train & DLR stations (15-20 min by bus depending on traffic)
- Blackheath (20 min walk, up a hill)

When not in a rush, and the sun is shining, my absolute favourite way to travel into the centre of London is on the river.
Thames Clipper catamarans leave regularly from:
- Greenwich Pier (best after sightseeing around Greenwich)
- Woolwich Pier (30 min by bus)
