The “biggest” town around, there is something in Traverse City for everyone. Explore downtown with blocks of shopping and restaurants. Stop by the State Theater home to the Traverse City Film Festival. Beaches are a quick walk from downtown. Bike rentals, paddleboard/kayak rentals are available from multiple vendors. TC has all of the big name stores you’d need during your stay.

Concerts, airshows, art shows, carnival rides, food vendors, shopping and pie eating contests are just a few of the many events that take place during the festival. The week is completed by the grand parade Saturday morning.
