The Freddie Mercury Statue is situated on the famous walk street in Montreux. I'd absolutely recommend to have a walk once on the road towards the lake in Montreux. Every year ~beg. July is the famous Montreux Jazz Festival

Its the best panoramic view on lake Geneva. The spot offers a nice restaurant and if you want you can even rent and sleep in one of the Mongolian yurts.
You can either walk-up from Montreux (4-5 hours) or take the "Goldenpass" rack railway from Montreux (30min).
