"The home in which the great Bulgarian poet and the beloved son of Bansko grew up was opened for visitors in 1952, the time when the World Peace Counsel awarded the poet Nikola Vaptsarov posthumously with the honorary diploma.
In past years the museum was reconstructed and renovated several times so the exposition could take its final look.
The innovative methods used for information include spectacular lighting and sound. Visitors can learn more about the poet and his life work via specially selected videos."

"St. Trinity Church is located in Bansko downtown and is one of the symbols of the resort. Being not only one of the most visited sights in the city, it is one of the biggest churches in Bulgaria. Until the construction of the St. Aleksandar Nevski Cathedral in Sofia, St. Trinity has been the biggest church in the country and on the Balkan Peninsula.
The name of Lazar Glushkov comes up among the maso masters who construct the temple during the period 1833 - 1835.
The whole complex is considered one of the most outstanding achievements of the Bulgarian culture from the National Revival period."

It is a typical house of traditional architectural style of Bansko from 18th century. It was build almost entirely of stone and wood, with yards surrounded by high walls and solid front gate."

The entrance fee for adults is 3 BGN, for pupils and students – 1 BGN, and if you visit the house on the first Wednesday of the month, the entrance is free of charge.

"Bansko is approved European ski center. The following sport disciplines are practiced in the ski area: alpine skiing, cross country, biathlon, snowboard.
Modern cabin lift – gondola with eight seats, carries skiers from the city up to Banderishka Polyana, with capacity of 2 400 people per hour. 100% of the ski runs are equipped with artificial snow machines, which ensures sufficient snow cover from December to May.
The highest point of the ski center is 2560m, and the lowest 990 m.
The total length of ski runs and ski paths is 75km.
22 kilometers fast and convenient lifts available to the guests of Bansko Ski Center. Up-to-date cabin lift (gondola) connects the city with Banderishka Polyana location, with one way station at Chalin Valog. The capacity of the gondola is 2400 people per hour.
Skiers can reach the ski area in the alpine part of the mountain with the cabin lift and by asphalt road from Bansko to Vihren Hut. The unique and one of its kind Half-Pipe facility in the country is located at the upper station of the gondola."
