Offerta gastronomica

The taste of Milan since 1964. Ever since the De Santis spouses had the intuition to open the restaurant in Corso Magenta, our sandwiches have never stopped telling Milan, its history, its stories, its tastes. Those that originally were 200 recipes all arise from a deep relationship with the city and its inhabitants, from a creativity that draws inspiration from people's desires, from the search for the most genuine ingredients of a territory that knows how to cultivate excellence. Corso Magenta, where is it history delights you. The first De Santis restaurant, where everything is as it once was, from the furnishings to the passion for sandwiches made to perfection. Milan sat at its tables: sportsmen, artists, politicians, entrepreneurs, ordinary people, all united by the desire to try, and even realize, the recipes of a gastronomic tradition that never ceases to renew itself.

Of course you have heard that the best things remain. They don't need to change. Since 1978 in the historic heart of Milan, a stone's throw from the Basilica of S. Ambrogio, there is the Osteria La Carbonella. Try to imagine the most extraordinary meat of the city, its succulence and its softness, so much so that it has earned the passionate love of its customers for more than 30 years. You will experience a real pleasure in tasting exceptional and fresh ingredients, carefully selected. First courses, risottos, cheeses, meats, and wines. And then again surprising homemade desserts. Imagine Santo Giazzi, owner, a bit of an artist, a man of life, of the world, of passion. The first to imagine the simplicity and elegance of the grill in the center of the room.

A pizzeria definitely out of the ordinary: the pizza, cooked in a wood oven, is the high and soft Neapolitan one. The menu also includes fish dishes such as spaghetti allo scoglio and meat the classic Milanese cutlet.

It looks like a French brand, but it is instead the Milanese annex of a very prestigious Neapolitan chocolate shop. Shelves and display cabinets are full of delicacies, but the house specialty is chocolate called "the forest" (60 euros per kilo): these are pieces of various sizes (from 100 grams up to 1 kilo and over), worked with ancient machines that reproduce a wooden aspect. Alternatively, fruit, naked chocolates (dark, liqueur, milk ...), bars and so on. Hot chocolate. A block of chocolate, previously treated with long processing, is dissolved in the cup. It is a thick fondant, slightly sweetened and softened by a drizzle of milk. Instead, cream is banned. Replaced by a series of mousses. We recommend that of milk "forest chocolate": excellent.
