The Mill serves locally sourced comfort food while accommodating a variety of dietary restrictions. They love little ones and have a mini library of coloring books and crayons to help entertain them! Lindsay’s Fave: the Kale Apple Salad with Grilled Chicken and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Zach’s Fave: Wednesday Wing Night (their house honey habanero sauce is incredible!) and anything they’re serving on tap.

For a nicer night out, make a reservation at Demi’s. We recommend the Mediterranean Manhattan, the red pepper & feta hummus, the lamb and the fish!

We’ve met Stella herself and can personally vouch for her tiramisu! We recommend the Moussaka. Be sure to check out the market just across the street and the grocery store in Scott’s Addition for take-home favorites, olive oil, wine, and other goodies!

A walk by the river is one of our favorite activities. Visit the Tyler Potterfield Bridge by the Tredegar Iron Works, or cross the river to Belle Isle for some lounging on the dry rocks. Kayaks and canoes can be rented seasonally across from the Iron Works.
