The only downside is, that it often gets very crouded, especially on weekends. So if you want to go for breakfast, make sure to place a reservation early enough (a week in advance for weekend reservations).

Augarten is not only a beautiful park, where you can enjoy some rays of sunlight on the grass, hang your hammock between two trees or wander around in the little "forest" area, it also serves as a reminder of Austria's dark piece of history with its huge concrete towers built in Second World War.
Additionally, there's a rather fancy restaurant where you can also get ice cream in summer next to the park's main entrance.
