In addition to a grocery store, this place has a hot and cold bar for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A lot of locally sourced food. Atmosphere is a bit sterile (it's part pf the store's bulk section).

It's actually called Susan's... now - a coffeeshop with an attached greenhouse featuring seasonal plants and decorations; also good for picking up gifts. And they allow dogs!!!

An absolute must-go place, the town's first and only "gonzo" vegetarian place (I guess that dates it, to 1974 if I remember correctly). One half of the family runs a farm where they grow the food (also for sale as Gathering Together Farms at the Farmer's Market; Sat & Wed on 1st St. come April (-Oct.) that is prepared and served on 15th Street (closed Sundays). Just my opinion, but I think it's to die for. Sorta like in Portlandia, where you can see where the chicken/lettuce came from....AND it's part of Corvallis history.
