A full restaurant and bar w/ quite decent food. I love the smothered burrito there. Karaoke on Saturdays I believe. Also, you'll find a few emergency groceries, fishing lures, etc. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays in winter. You can find more groceries up canyon about a mile on the left at Poudre City. BEST TO PICK UP GROCERIES IN FORT COLLINS

Sightseeing
Trails; foot trails, bike trails and ATV trails are within 1/2 hour depending on destination. Cameron Pass is up canyon, Mishawaka is down canyon. Shambala is 20 minutes to the North. A day trip to Fort Collins w/ a top notch list of super restaurants, is an hour away over some truly spectacular scenery. In my opinion, though, the best scenery is right off the deck at the cabin!

Arts & Culture
I selected "Everything Else" because visiting Shambala is a truly amazing experience. The Stupa is a place that just begs for self reflection and silence. The Dalai Lama has personally blessed Shambala with his presence. Something you will not forget.

Parks & Nature
The park practically surrounds the cabin. CSU Mountain Center at Pingree Park is close by. Uphill you will find waterfalls, lakes, Cameron Pass, Steamboat Springs, skiing, hiking, biking... all the special things a National Park will offer!

Fort Collins deserves a day trip which includes a late night if you have the time! FoCo offers many high quality foods of every type. Ethiopian, many Thai, Mongolian, Mexican, Chinese, it has a restaurant for everyone! Shopping simply must include a stop in Old Town. If you like to cook, don't miss The Cupboard! Park in a parking garage, they are easily accessible and well marked.
