Hands down the best fish and chip shop around! Portion sizes are large - be warned. Also the shop gets busy so I would recommend calling ahead and ordering your takeout!

Stunning area for bird life. There are a couple of bird hides to use, a path the whole way around and a cycle path part way around. To do a run / walk door to door around the lake is about 8km and definitely worth it!

Local lake a 10 minute walk from the house with a buggy friendly path around the water. There is a children's play park, a remote control boat club, and BBQ facilities. The lake is dog friendly for off the lead walks.

Beautiful bush setting local park with various trails. Zamia is a good 5km loop with some hills to raise the heart rate! There is a fantastic view point at the peak with views on the trails to the ocean, across Subiaco and the City. A great place to view fireworks from!

There is a wide variety of exhibitions and events held in the library that are often free of charge. Ranging from indigenous art shows to disrupted festival, these are always very well curated and worth a look. There is also a cafe and bookshop on the ground floor.
