Dinant is a traditional visit for tourists visiting the area. The "Croisette" along the Meuse river with numerous restaurants and cafés is a must see. The Citadelle, the Grottes, the "Vallée de la Molignée". Coming from home, make sure you follow the right bank of the Meuse (Yvoir), the most scenic way to reach the city. If you go further along the Meuse, cross the bridge of Dinant (Saxophones) and follow the left bank. You will hit the "Chateau de Freyr", wonderful castle with charming gardens.

Huy
Huy is another medieval city on the Meuse. A wonderful cathedral dating back from 14th century (La Collegiale), the Grand Place and the adjacent old streets with several old houses of the traditional Mosan style.

Assesse is a rural village with several castles, historic farms and houses. Crupet - you can walk to Crupet from our guesthouse by just crossing the hill in front, 20 minutes - is one of the "Prettiest Villages of Wallonia". Mozet, 10 km away to the east is also one. Both villages are made almost exclusively of the typical grey stone houses. Each has of course its emblematic castle and on old church. The "Grotte de Goyet" is a prehistoric cave (10km) which can be visited (guided tour twice a day during the week-end) . We highly advise our guest to bring a visit to the local Tourist Office in Crupet (open everyday during vacation periods, otherwise during the we).
