There are many cool and interesting places to have a good cocktail and depending on your age and budget I could make other recommendations, just ask.

Food Scene
There are several very good inexpensive Bistro type restaurants within walking distance that we have eaten at many times and highly recommend. Evvo on Avenue Road as well as L'unita which is right beside each other and also Joso's which is also very close. There is good Mexican very close by as well as excellent Margarita's at Play Cabana Hacienda.
