Once working from an wood fire oven cart in front of the hardware store, the owners have grown their masterful craft into this remarkable establishment. Try the Nutella pizza, with fresh raspberries, Nutella, and a sweet glaze. Its is positively dreamy.

Where the Colorado Plateau drops down into the great basin of the ancient Lake Boneville, nature has left a strata of the most incredible, raw, colorful and dynamic scenery in the country. Kolob Canyon is on the northern tip of the National Park, and is worth your attention. The deep, huge red cliffs have a purple tinge that really is enchanting.
Another hour south is the main southern entrance where the Virgin river has cut a masterpiece out of the sandstone. Dozens of hikes and adventures are accessible by way of the tour shuttle. If you are in the area, its wholly worthy of your attentions!

Often called Mini Bryce canyon, this massive panorama of stone pillars is over 10,000 feet above the sea, and the exposure has created a scene from dreamland. It is only accessible in winter by snowmobile or cross country skis--- and, if you have the ambition to get up there in the winter, there are yurts and warming stations along the way. The winter views there are staggering! Access is right up Cedar canyon.

It is only accessible in winter by snowmobile or cross country skis--- and, if you have the ambition to get up there in the winter, there are yurts and warming stations along the way. The winter views there are staggering! Access is right up Cedar canyon.

This park hugs the river, and in the summer they redirect a shallow stream through the park that kids and dogs can play in. There are three play grounds along the trail within a mile from our location, and trails are paved. A two mile jogging trail follows the river up the canyon from the park, and views are nice.

There are three play grounds along the trail within a mile from our location, and trails are paved. A two mile jogging trail follows the river up the canyon from the park, and views are nice.

Cedar City has hosted the Shakespeare festival for many years, and the play quality has become profound.
While the Green Show can be laughable, the plays themselves are truly epic. If you are in Cedar City from July to October, the plays surely merit your attention.
