At sunrise Avalon Beach is magical. A must do whilst you are here, take a stroll along the beach towards the north and make your way along the boardwalk behind the beach and reward yourself at the beach cafe with a coffee. There is a great surf break (so I am told) as well as a wonderful sea pool at the south end of the beach which is closest to the house.
A fabulous restaurant above the beach cafe too, which has amazing beach views and perfect to sit there and sip on a vino or two and just take it all in.

This store is hands down one of my favourites. Virgine has an incredible eye for all things beautiful, from women's clothing, to the most incredible range of kids clothes and gifts for kids. This is where I escape for retail therapy when I am in the village. Located inside the arcade where Andrew Blake Real Estate is on the main street.
