One of my favorite places and it’s right near the Brooklyn Museum and Grand Army Plaza. My friends who have visited still talk about this place. Also, the owner, Cheryl, is a wonderful human.

I love brunch, and The Ryerson has a delicious and creative menu, with excellent alcoholic and non-alcoholic brunch beverages. Although the menu is just one page, I still have trouble choosing. I can vouch for the Chicken & Waffles, the Wakey Wakey Burger, and any of the mimosas. Oh! And if you order a side of bacon, it’s a legit side of thick cut bacon.
They do Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, Dinner Wednesday-Sunday, and Happy Hour is Wednesday-Friday 4:00-6:00pm. Indoor and Outdoor seating available. Their gorgeous back patio is open all year.

Located just behind the Brooklyn Museum, this is a lovely oasis away from the hustle and bustle of city life where you can be surrounded by huge trees, walk through beautiful gardens, and treat your nose with the sensory garden and rose garden. I always forget I'm in a city when I'm here.
