You can have lunch on the terrace ouside (will have to climb a few steps) but the space under the trees and across from the Cathedral is just absolutely beautiful. Go on a sunny day.
If you chose to go to ground floor cafe, you can have ice-cream, breakfast, a light lunch (sandwiches) and coffee, or tea.

La Anita is a beautiful unique restaurant, it can be a bit loud inside, and has some dishes woks and dishes with seafood. They offer a menu whith a 3 course, 2 courses plus desert. Feel free to inquire about it. It can get busy and you may have to wait to be seated. They also deliver and offer take out food.

The menu, they specialize on eastern European food, German and Austrian dishes but have a wider selection of other food. I believe they also have a pizza night.

This is a beautiful place for dinner. It has a beautiful outdoor space nicely lit at night. I have always ate meat, asado-argentinian barbecue, and I recommend it.

Take el tren de la cost to Estacion Barrancas. There is a market with antiques as well as a nice restaurant / bar on the train station called Bike and Coffee and you can sit overlooking the railway tracks. If you are with little ones this is a must place to go. My kids love it! If you prefer a quieter ambiance they have seating inside and on the sidewalk side under the trees.

There is a market with antiques as well as a nice restaurant / bar on the train station called Bike and Coffee and you can sit overlooking the railway tracks. If you are with little ones this is a must place to go. My kids love it! If you prefer a quieter ambiance they have seating inside and on the sidewalk side under the trees.

On Cosme Beccar at 400's you find all of the essentials. Walk on Almirante Brown 6 blocks straight towards the Train Station of San Isidro Linea Mitre (THIS IS NOT EL TREN DE LA COSTA, it is on the opposite direction)- and you will find on Cosme Beccar one Carrefour Supermarket, 3 or 4 groceries (vegetables and fruit and eggs), 2 butcher's, 1 fish market (with ready made food and raw food), 1 poultry market, with prepared food that is ready to cook (milanesas de pollo), 1 bakery, 1 dietetica (sells nuts, dried fruit, etc), 1 laundry (you can leave the clothes and they will clean for you)
All of them make deliveries, make sure you will be on property, and pay attention to a shout out, they tend to deliver on a bicycle :), alternatively you can take the shopping cart (bag with wheels - red) left in the kitchen.
