Rock Creek Park is just 10 blocks from our house (15-20 minute walk). It is like finding yourself in the wilderness in the middle if DC. We hike almost daily here with our kids and our dogs. You can also find a nature center, a horse stable, pavilions, picnic areas, and more in the park. On weekends and holidays, there are road closures in Rock Creek that allow for even more great biking, scooting, running, and walking.
