Toscanini is one of the best restaurants in the neighbourhood. If you want to have a romantic dinner, some exquisite typical Italian food- and wine tasting, this is the place to be. It is owned by an Italian chef cook and quite well known in the neighbourhood. Expensive, but worth it. Do reserve a table in advance, since full it is fully booked almost every night.

This place is also around the corner and people travel from everywhere to taste the home made apple pie, typical Dutch, definately worth it. I wouldnt suggest to go on Saturdays, cause then you really have to wait (even a line outside) to taste some of this delicious apple pie.

On the Lindenmarket you can find all sorts of things, also clothes, vegetables and fruits, brownies, fish, flowers, bicycles or bicycle parts, eggs, cheese and so on.
They start to build the stands early in the morning as of 6am.. this might wake you up, since its all happening in this street.
But when you are awake and walk out of the door, it will surprise you whats going on here. The atmosphere is really good and typical Amsterdam / Jordaan.
