Sightseeing
Wonderful for a fun day out, Hire canoes, take a leisurely walk along the river and around the town, plenty of places for coffee. Would highly recommend dinner at the Moulin . Du Roc or the Moulin D'abbaye or luncheon at the Cote Riviera all overlooking the river.

Food Scene
This is a great place if your looking to eat pasta with a French twist, try their foie gras! - foods great and the service is excellent with Louise serving. I believe it's open 6 days a week in high season.

Tocane is a small market held on a Monday but has a couple of great producters. Food and Coffee shop run by a couple of New Zealanders always give you a warm welcome.
Tocane takes approx 15 minutes by car from the property, but is a beautiful run passing through the village of Montagrier, well worth a quick stop to view the church approximately 350mtrs above sea level with glorious views across the countryside.

The canoes are rented out for around the town trips, half day or full day - a waterproof barrel is provided to keep your belongings safe and dry. Pack a picnic. Great fun for all.

There are many adventure climbing tree parks so it's up to you as to how adventurous you are. This place is a great day out being well looked after by the instructors ensuring you have fun whilst feeling secure. Recommend for couples and families.

Although almost a couple of hours drive south, Sarlat is a
a beautiful Medieval town in the heart of the Dordogne offering restaurants, walks and much more. However, if you decide a visit during the summer, I suggest you go early due to it's popularity.
