(countertop sandwich service) Zunzi’s is a perfect stop for lunch in between activities downtown. You can recognize the countertop service restaurant by the assortment of flags out front and a long line of patrons right around noon. Recommended: Boerewors on a roll, which is a South African sausage with gravy, onions and mustard on a roll. Sounds weird but its damn good! $ Lunch/Dinner (11AM-9PM, closed Sunday)

Very reasonably priced lunches (fried green BLT is a good choice), the dinners are well done, and the building feels old like it should. It’s actually a cool place to have a drink, but, the best part of 17hundred90 is the complimentary biscuit with honey butter drizzle. Very reasonably priced lunches (fried green BLT is a good choice), the dinners are well done, and the building feels old like it should. With their famous 7 days a week brunch (did someone say bottomless mimosas?) and delicious dinners, this gastropub fills up quickly. Be sure to call ahead to make sure they haven't filled up for the day as this often happens.

Keep the tradition alive and stroll down to River Street, spill a Wet Willie’s daiquiri all over your shirt, and enjoy the crowds. A good place to start is The Warehouse where they typically have live music at night.

17 Lincoln Street! Near Bay Street. Great old-looking dive bar with murals drawn on bar napkins of the greatest president of all times, strewn about the bar. Great atmosphere with outdoor seating as well. Great beer selection and spirits!

Great for a day trip outside of Savannah. Its about 1.5 hours south but worth the trip, the beach is also dog friendly. The beach is full of driftwood trees and perfect for great pictures. Also, the rest of Jekyll Island is worth checking out including the lighthouse and Georgia Sea Turtle Center.
