We don't go out to nightclub's, however our children go when they are in town. It is only open Wednesday and Friday's but a classic local bar with good music.

Parks & Nature
This is where the ships climb the mountain, bringing them between Lake Ontario and Lake Erie. There is a bike/walking trail along the canal. If you want to see how a lock system operates and see large lake ships up close, I would recommend Lock 7 located in Thorold.

It has a beautiful falls and wonderful trails that link up to Bruce Trail. I took my children there all the time as the trails are very well maintained.

Extensive hiking trails. If you go early in the morning you have a great chance of seeing deer and other wild life. I love it as it is very hilly with a lot of hiking options. The forest and hills are lovely, where you can go and shut off your head.

Sightseeing
I would recommend doing the Horn Blower it is very reasonble. If you go first thing in the morning you can get through quickly. We always take people on it when they come, as it gets them up close to the falls! The Bird Kingdom, Butterfly Sanctuary and Royal Botanical Gardens are lovely too.

Known for wine, theatre and Fort George. Park and walk the main street. Lots of shops to dip in and out of and food to be consumed. On the way to NOTL you will pass a lot of wineries. I have recently gone to Wayne Gretzky and Jackson Triggs and was not disappointed. Also, if you plan ahead there are often outdoor concerts and festivals every weekend to enjoy.
