Dirt road going all the way into Pallarenda. Stop along the way to go up the lookout tower and soak in the amazing views of the flood plains, spot some birds and other wildlife. There is a bird watching hideout at the end of the road. Bring mozzie spray :)

Walk up the Cudtheringa Track or also called goat track and enjoy wonderful views of Townsville. Well worth the effort! Best to go up early mornings or evenings to beat the heat. Looks spectacular by night as well. Can drive up to the top if you want to skip the walk
