Old Speck is a great experience. It is a part of the Appalachian trail and is about 7 miles round trip. This is one of the trails that starts at Grafton Notch. The parking lot for it is a few miles north of Screw Auger Falls (which is a pretty little series of water falls easily accessed from the main road - Rte 26).

Old Speck is a great experience. It is a part of the Appalachian trail and is about 7 miles round trip. This is one of the trails that starts at Grafton Notch. The parking lot for it is a few miles north of Screw Auger Falls (which is a pretty little series of water falls easily accessed from the main road - Rte 26).
