Arguably the best beach in South Zone Rio de Janeiro. Take the metro from local station "Siqueira Campos" to "Nossa Senhora da Paz" Station. When you get to the beach, to the left is Arpoador and on the end of the beach to the right is Leblon.

Easiest access is by car or taxi, rather complicated by public transport. It is also a great bike ride, however, recommended for slightly more experienced riders due to some possible parts of intense traffic, uphills and overall distance. Scenic drive there and back. Great surf spot. For climbers there are bolted routes just by the beach (best get there early in the morning).
