But there are pool tables (you can play for free), TV screens, cold beer and friendly ladies (most of them from Issan, with very little English abilities), so you can still have a nice time. Closing time is 2:00 am, or earlier if there are no patrons or if the police decide so.

Bintabaht is the heart of sin for Hua Hin. It's pretty tame compared with the outrageous excess and lust of Pattaya, but this gives it a more appealing, low-key, undercurrent for visitors. The bars are fairly loud, but not excessive, the girls play it fairly cool and don't pull you in like an ATM card. It's still a pretty fruity place for the whole BG scene but closing times are, alas, another fly in the ointment. You'll be sat there having a blast at some bar when it suddenly the police will roll along and get the bar closed because it's nearly midnight. Soi BintabahtBintabaht is the heart of sin for Hua Hin. It's pretty tame compared with the outrageous excess and lust of Pattaya, but this gives it a more appealing, low-key, undercurrent for visitors. The bars are fairly loud, but not excessive, the girls play it fairly cool and don't pull you in like an ATM card. It's still a pretty fruity place for the whole BG scene but closing times are, alas, another fly in the ointment. You'll be sat there having a blast at some bar when it suddenly the police will roll along and get the bar closed because it's nearly midnight. Parks & Nature
The Forest Park is a quiet and relaxing place. You can go there for a picnic, to play football with the kids, ride your bicycle, exercise, jog… The great thing about this park is that there are no soi dogs, unlike anywhere else in Cha-am. Instead you can just look up and see wild gibbons, especially in the morning. They are used to humans and they sometimes come very close! There is also a Thai restaurant in the park, near the entrance. The park itself is opened from 6:00 to 19:00.
